Condy's are one of the anemone's that will leave your finger/hand numb if you make contact with it to varying degrees depending how sensitive you are to it. Very "sticky" tentacles (teeny tiny spines) and they WILL grab things that come into their area like feeding tongs, etc., or even fish. I’ve had a condy in the past and currently have one right now, wondering and open to hearing anything anyone has to say.

Understanding the Context

What’s the best Care, Advice, tips, etc. The condy does occasionally try to eat a snail or hermit crab (the crabs give him a poke and he backs off lol), but my fish sleep in the condy at night and hide under it when i’ve got my hands in the tank (sans food lol). My situation isn’t the norm though. Watching to see how this goes.

Key Insights

Good luck! Sorry for that excessive paragraph but here is the criteria, Which one of them host more invertebrates (from the Caribbean) and most importantly which one looks better in the tanks I would greatly appreciate it if you guys posted pictures of your Curlique/Condy anemones in the reef tank especially if they are Hosting Caribbean species if not ... Show of your Condy/Curlique anemones and the guests that live in them ... Hi everyone. I purchased a condy anemone last month.

Final Thoughts

I only have a 20 HI, no corals, fish only. He was an impulse purchase....I didn't do the research. It's doing really well, healthy, developing beige tips and attached day 1, has not moved since. He has a healthy foot also I'm stuck with him... First, condy’s can get big, 6-10” easily. Lighting is similar to other anemones.

High lighting requirements in general. I don’t know that someone can give you an exact minimum par, but similar to sps requirements. Your zoas may not like that much light. So something else to consider.
